NTT DATA Payment Services and SECAI MARCHE have announced a strategic collaboration to digitise procurement, invoicing, payment collection and financial operations for Malaysia’s HORECA sector through an integrated platform launching in July 2026. The partnership is expected to benefit approximately 400 producers and 2,400 foodservice and hospitality businesses across the country.

MALAYSIA, 27 MAY 2026 – NTT DATA Payment Services and SECAI MARCHE Inc. have unveiled a strategic collaboration aimed at accelerating digital transformation across Malaysia’s foodservice and hospitality industry, bringing together two complementary platforms to deliver an end-to-end digital solution for Hotel, Restaurant, and Café (HORECA) businesses.

The partnership integrates SECAI MARCHE’s fresh produce distribution platform with NTT DATA Payment Services’ digital billing, payment and receivables capabilities, operating under its global brand ADAPTIS. The combined solution is designed to address longstanding inefficiencies in the HORECA supply chain, where many businesses continue to rely on fragmented and manual processes for procurement, invoicing, reconciliation and payment collection.

With Malaysia’s foodservice and hospitality sector on a steady growth trajectory, demand for integrated digital tools has surged as businesses seek to improve operational efficiency, strengthen cash flow visibility and enhance supply chain coordination. The collaboration directly responds to this need by enabling restaurants, hotels, accommodation providers, suppliers and producers to streamline procurement and fresh produce sourcing, digitise invoicing and reconciliation workflows, and facilitate seamless payment collection across multiple payment channels.

The integrated platform is scheduled to go live in July 2026, with an initial target of supporting approximately 400 producers and 2,400 HORECA businesses nationwide.

Shinichiro Nishikawa, Head of Global Payments and Services Division at NTT DATA Japan, highlighted that the collaboration aims to simplify operations while strengthening financial efficiency across the foodservice and hospitality ecosystem, creating greater value along the supply chain.

Shusaku Hayakawa, CEO and Co-Founder of SECAI MARCHE, said the company’s mission has always been to build a more efficient and sustainable food supply ecosystem by connecting producers and buyers through technology, and that the partnership with NTT DATA marks a significant step towards that goal.

Looking ahead, both companies plan to expand the platform’s digital financial services capabilities to include supply chain financing and alternative payment solutions such as Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL). By leveraging transaction and invoice data generated within the ecosystem, the collaboration aims to broaden access to financing and support sustainable business growth across Malaysia’s foodservice value chain, with potential expansion into wider Southeast Asian markets.
