KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Electronic Clearing Corporation Sdn Bhd (MyClear) hosted Most Outstanding Merchant Award event this afternoon at Sasana Kijang, Jalan Dato Onn, to award top ten merchant of FPX and Direct Debit in year 2011. FPX is a service provides consumers with the convenience to purchase and shop at their favourite retail websites and online stores while Direct Debit is a recurring types of payment service.
MyClear managing director Mohd Suhail Amar Suresh said MyClear will have additional two to four thousand merchants of FPX and Direct Debits after they have appointed few companies as its third party acquirer (TPA) in helping MyClear to acquire merchants. He said that the company will extend FPX operational hours to 24 hours a day, seven days a week by year-end. “Indeed, the number of transactions of FPX and Direct Debit services have increased significantly to over one million transaction as at the end of 2011 and having transaction growth rate of 30 per cent every month,” Suhail said.
