INDONESIA: PT AGIT Monitise Indonesia (AGIT Monitise Indonesia), a joint venture between Monitise Asia Pacific and Astra Graphia Information Technology (AGIT) has introduced the world’s first mobile payments service for BlackBerry® Messenger (BBM) here namely BBM Money after received approval from the central bank in Indonesia.
With the support by PT Bank Permata TBK (Permata Bank) and BlackBerry, BlackBerry users will have the option to access a BBM Money account from their BlackBerry phone and make real-time payments simply and securely from within BBM to their contacts who are also signed up to the service, buy mobile airtime credit and transfer money to bank accounts.
