Meta has introduced AI Studio, a tool that lets users create and share personalized AI chatbots, powered by the new Llama 3.1 model. OpenAI is developing a secret project named “Strawberry” to showcase advanced reasoning capabilities in its models.
30 July 2024 – Meta Platforms announced on Monday the launch of AI Studio, a new tool designed to enable users to create, share, and design personalized AI chatbots. AI Studio allows users to develop customized AI characters, which Instagram creators can use to manage direct message inquiries and respond to story replies, serving as an extension of themselves, according to Meta.
The AI characters created with AI Studio can be shared across Meta’s various social media platforms. This innovative tool is powered by Meta’s latest artificial intelligence model, Llama 3.1, which is the largest iteration of its predominantly free AI models released last week. Llama 3.1 supports multiple languages and boasts performance metrics comparable to those of paid models from competitors like OpenAI.
In related news, OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT, is reportedly working on a secretive project codenamed “Strawberry.” According to an exclusive report by Reuters earlier this month, this project aims to demonstrate the advanced reasoning capabilities of OpenAI’s models.
