16 October 2024 – The Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), under the Ministry of Digital, has announced the Malaysia Digital Xceleration (MDX) Summit 2024, set to take place from 24 to 25 October at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. Focusing on five transformative pillars, MDX Summit 2024 will enhance Malaysia’s digital economy and strengthen its regional competitiveness. The event will spotlight Data Trust, addressing cybersecurity and cryptography to ensure secure digital transactions; NextGen Computing, covering innovations in GPU technology, Quantum Computing, Serverless Computing, Edge Computing, and Large Language Models (LLM); Computer Vision, which enables machines to interpret and transform their surroundings; Metaverse, offering immersive experiences that revolutionize work and play; and Digital Twins, which will innovate sectors like healthcare and automotive by creating digital replicas that improve efficiency.
