Conveniently situated in Terminal 1 near Gate 40, the venue provides eligible cardholders with access to high-end dining regardless of where their card was issued.
The new concept forms part of The Mastercard Collection, a global portfolio of curated travel, entertainment, and dining privileges. Designed for travelers seeking bespoke culinary experiences, Taste by Priceless blends local heritage with international flavors through seasonal menus co-created alongside acclaimed chefs.
Travelers visiting the venue can choose between two distinct dining formats to fit their travel schedules. The Counter offers an intimate, chef-led tasting experience featuring a multi-course menu with items such as Shiso and Romaine Salad alongside Superior Chicken Soup. Alternatively, The Cove provides a relaxed setting with an à la carte menu of refined tapas-style options including Pil Pil Prawns and Miso Glazed Cauliflower. Both spaces feature signature desserts and handcrafted cocktails created exclusively for Taste by Priceless venues worldwide.
Access parameters vary by card tier, with World Legend cardholders enjoying unlimited complimentary entry for themselves and up to three guests. World Elite and World cardholders can access the lounge at a preferential rate. Eligible travelers can walk in within three hours of their flight departure without making a prior reservation.
Mastercard Executive Vice President of Core Payments in Asia Pacific, Joyce Bo, highlighted that modern travel now extends beyond the destination, with airports becoming an integral component of the overall journey. She noted that the lounge caters to travelers looking for experiences worth arriving early for, while allowing financial institutions to enhance their value proposition for premium customers.
In addition to gastronomy, the space functions as a multi-sensory environment incorporating local cultural influences and brand heritage. A central feature of the interior is a commissioned art installation by emerging Chinese artist Xinran Guan, featuring oil paintings that explore the harmony between material and immaterial realms.
The Hong Kong debut builds on Mastercard’s existing airport dining footprint, joining its location at Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo and ahead of an upcoming opening scheduled for Mexico City later this year.
