MasterCard Appoints Two New Country Managers in ASEAN
Sept 5, 2013 (Thu): MasterCard yesterday officially announced the appointment of Antonio Corro as its country manager of Thailand and Myanmar, and Arn Vogels as its country manager of IndoChina.
Corro was MasterCard’s country manager of IndoChina overseeing Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar and now replaced by Vogel who moved from MasterCard Europe where he held senior account management roles and was responsible for managing relationships with several global banks with Asian operations.
However, Corro still oversee Myanmar market as he played a key role in MasterCard becoming the first international payments network to grant a license to a Myanmar bank, paving the way for the very first international card acceptance in the country.
