Terry KS Jan 6, 2014 (Mon): MasterCard on last Saturday announced that it has completed the acquisition of Provus Bilisim Hizmetleri A. S. (Provus), a leading independent payment solution and processing provider in Turkey. MasterCard did not disclose the terms of the deal.
The President MasterCard Europe, Javier Perez said that the acquisition of Provus enables MasterCard to continue developing innovative solutions to add value to their customers and increases their processing presence in Europe.
“Turkey continues to be a very exciting and growing market and this acquisition provides an important platform that will enable us to not only serve customers locally but also to continue to deliver innovative payment solutions across the region,” Perez added.
