The 16th Malaysia Gifts Fair has officially opened at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre from 30 June to 2 July 2026, expanding to four full exhibition halls and earning Asia Records certification as the largest gifts and premium fair in Asia. The event brings together over 400 booths, 50,000 products and international exhibitors under the theme of sustainable gifting.

MALAYSIA, 1 JULY 2026 – The 16th Malaysia Gifts Fair has officially opened its doors at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marking the most expansive edition in the event’s history and cementing its standing as Asia’s premier gifts and premium trade platform. Organised by the Malaysian Gifts and Premium Association and endorsed by the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026 runs from 30 June to 2 July 2026 under the theme Redefining Sustainable Gifting for a Better Tomorrow, reflecting the industry’s commitment to purposeful and responsible gifting practices.

For the first time, the fair occupies four full exhibition halls at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, spanning Hall 1 through Hall 4, open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. The expansion accommodates more than 400 booths showcasing over 50,000 products across ten major product categories, including sustainable products, customised apparel, innovative gadgets, bags, trophies, printing machinery and packaging solutions. The fair is expected to welcome more than 16,000 trade professionals over three days, including corporate buyers, procurement teams, gift agents and industry leaders from across the region.

This edition also sees participation from the handicraft industry alongside international exhibitors from Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Bangladesh, France and Uzbekistan, broadening the supply chain representation and adding diversity to the showcase.

A landmark achievement accompanies this year’s edition, with Malaysia Gifts Fair 2026 receiving Asia Records certification recognising it as the Largest Gifts and Premium Fair in Asia, acknowledging its scale, influence and standing in the regional trade calendar.

MGPA President Ivan Loo noted that the global business landscape is evolving rapidly, with ESG compliance now a global standard rather than a corporate aspiration, and with technology and AI reshaping how business is conducted across industries. He said the event’s theme reflects where the industry must head, aligning gifting with purpose and innovation while ensuring Malaysia retains its leadership in the regional gifting trade.

Organising Chairman Alex Chai described the expansion to four halls as a milestone reflecting the platform’s remarkable growth and the industry’s confidence in what the fair represents. He also acknowledged the Asia Book of Records recognition as a shared success made possible by every exhibitor, buyer, partner and supporter who has contributed to building the event over the years. The fair also aligns with the spirit of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, contributing to Malaysia’s position as a business tourism destination by drawing international trade professionals and showcasing the country’s gifts and premium trade capabilities.
