The Malaysia Digital Expo (MDX) 2023 has been launched, celebrating the nation’s digital economy and showcasing innovations and investment opportunities from local and global companies. Under the theme “Let’s do business. Invest in Malaysia,” MDX 2023 aims to foster collaboration, highlight Malaysia’s digital assets, and position the country as a leading digital nation in the ASEAN region.
25 September 2023 – The Ministry of Communications and Digital (KKD) in collaboration with Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) today officially launched the Malaysia Digital Expo (MDX) 2023. The ceremony, graced by the Minister of Communications and Digital, YB Fahmi Fadzil, marks the commencement of a nationwide celebration of Malaysia’s digital economy. Under the theme “Let’s do business. Invest in Malaysia,” MDX 2023 aims to showcase the latest innovations and technologies from both local and global companies, demonstrating Malaysia’s readiness to explore and advance its digital ecosystem while fostering opportunities for businesses in the ASEAN region and beyond. The event will run until November 8, 2023.
MDX 2023 features a distinguished lineup of speakers and industry leaders, including Ricky Kapur (Head of APEC at Zoom), Melvin Ooi (CEO of YTL-Sea Digital Bank), Eric Chang (Co-founder & Group CEO of Carsome), Dr. Raymond Choy (Co-Founder & CEO of Doc2US), and Hiroyuki Kato (Director of Japan Peppol Authority, Government of Japan).
This six-week event encompasses conferences, workshops, exhibitions, networking sessions, and culminates in the prestigious MDX Grand Finale and an exclusive industry awards dinner. Anticipating over 150,000 participants from around the world, the event will draw investors, entrepreneurs, technology startups, trade associations, policymakers, and digital professionals.
