MADCash Triumphs with Double Wins at 2024 Money Awareness & Inclusion Awards

MADCash Sdn. Bhd. has won two awards at the 2024 Money Awareness & Inclusion Awards for its impactful work in empowering women entrepreneurs through zero-interest microfunds. The company received accolades for Best For-profit Project for Under-Served Communities and Closing The Gender Gap.


31 May 2024 – MADCash Sdn. Bhd., a rising Malaysian fintech company specializing in zero-interest microfunds for women entrepreneurs, has been recognized with two prestigious awards at the 2024 Money Awareness & Inclusion Awards (MAIAs). The company was awarded Best For-profit Project for Under-Served Communities and Closing The Gender Gap during the virtual ceremony held yesterday.

Nuraizah Shamsul Baharin, Managing Director of MADCash, expressed her excitement, stating, “We are super thrilled to receive this international recognition from the MAIAs. Our mission is to empower women entrepreneurs by providing access to capital and business and financial training with the end goal of helping our women become bankable in two years. Winning these two awards is a testament to our hard work and the amazing effort put in by the women we fund.”

Michael Gilmore, founder of the MAIAs, highlighted the significance of MADCash’s achievements. “We received submissions from 35 different countries for the 2024 MAIAs, showing how crucial financial literacy and inclusion have become around the world. MADCash’s awards in two categories demonstrate their robust approach to supporting underserved women entrepreneurs.”

MADCash was the only project in 2024 to achieve double wins, setting it apart from other contenders. “The awards inspire us to have an even greater impact and reach more women in need.
