LogicMonitor has announced a new operating model for autonomous IT built on its Envision platform and Edwin AI to help enterprise operations move from basic alert monitoring to governed action. The architecture connects system telemetry, user experience, and AI-driven workflows, enabling organizations to improve incident remediation and operational efficiency.

SINGAPORE, 15 OCTOBER 2026 – IT infrastructure intelligence provider LogicMonitor has unveiled a new autonomous IT operating model designed to move enterprise technology teams beyond standard alert notifications into governed, automated action.

Announced at the Elevate 2026 conference, the architecture is powered by LogicMonitor Envision and Edwin AI, incorporating digital experience and internet performance telemetry from Catchpoint. The system aims to give technology leaders complete visibility across complex digital environments while enabling AI-guided decision-making within defined operational boundaries.

The new framework introduces functional updates across five critical operational pillars:

  • Enterprise Data Foundation: Integrates metrics, logs, and cost data via open standards like OpenTelemetry to provide comprehensive dataset visibility for AI reasoning.
  • Unified Context: Maps dependencies across applications, services, infrastructure, and user experiences to pinpoint the root cause of service disruptions.
  • AI for Governed Action: Uses Edwin AI specialized agents to automate investigations and suggest remediation workflows.
  • Embedded Experience: Delivers insights directly into daily productivity tools, including Slack, Microsoft Teams, and ServiceNow.
  • Action, Trust and Governance: Applies granular access controls, audit policies, and authorization guardrails to ensure safe execution.
  • In early commercial deployment, a U.S. federal agency using the platform projected a 182 percent return on investment over three years, over 170,000 hours in annual productivity savings, and a 70 percent decrease in downtime impact.

LogicMonitor Chief Technology Officer Prabhu Nakkeeran noted that transitioning to autonomous IT is a progressive journey from visibility to governed action, allowing organizations to maintain human oversight over key policies and risk parameters. Chief AI Officer Karthik Sj added that combining domain-specific expertise with familiar IT tools helps teams safely scale automation as confidence grows.
