July 25, 2013 (Thu): LINE, the mobile messenger app famous with stickers aims to expand its Malaysian user base to 10 million or equivalent of 35 per cent of Malaysia population, the Business Times reported. Localised contents, partnership with media and potential collaboration with local telecommunications providers will be the key approaches for LINE to achieve high usage of its messenger in the country.
Recently, LINE achieved its new record of 200 million registered users worldwide, with one-third in Asia.
