Randall Davies, Senior Director of Global Business Development at PayPal, via a blog post, announced that LG Electronics has integrated its award-winning Smart TV platform with PayPal.
After the integration, the platform users are able to use PayPal to purchase video-on-demand and other services through the LG Smart TV. Consumers can use a remote to enter in their information or use LG’s Magic Remote to control the onscreen keypad. PayPal will also offer a ‘remember me’ command for an even easier experience.
LG Smart TV with PayPal is now available in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., and soon available in France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Australia.
