Keeper Security has introduced upgraded Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) features in KeeperPAM to improve secure access for modern web workflows. The enhancements combine usability upgrades such as multi-tab browsing and secure file uploads with AI-powered session monitoring for stronger zero-trust protection.
SINGAPORE, 14 APRIL 2026 – Keeper Security has announced new Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) capabilities within KeeperPAM, aimed at improving secure, policy-based access for modern web applications within privileged sessions.
The latest updates are designed to address long-standing usability challenges that have limited adoption of traditional RBI solutions. By introducing multi-tab browsing, secure file uploads and full JavaScript support, Keeper aims to make remote browser-based access more practical without compromising security.
The enhanced RBI capabilities allow users to securely access both cloud-based and internal web applications directly from the Keeper Vault without relying on a VPN. All browsing activity is hosted in an isolated remote environment, reducing the risk of malware exposure, credential theft and data leakage from compromised endpoints.
One of the key improvements is multi-tab support within isolated sessions, enabling users to navigate pop-ups, redirects and Single Sign-On workflows more efficiently. Native JavaScript alerts, prompts and confirmation dialogs are also fully supported, ensuring smoother interactions with complex web applications.
Keeper has also introduced administrator-controlled secure file uploads within RBI sessions. This feature allows users to upload documents, videos and other files directly to approved websites without leaving the isolated environment. File uploads remain disabled by default and must be explicitly enabled by administrators, aligning with least-privilege access principles.
In addition, Keeper is expanding its AI-powered session monitoring capabilities through KeeperAI to cover RBI and other protocols. The system continuously analyzes session activity in real time, generates summaries and helps security teams detect suspicious or out-of-scope behaviour.
Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, said the updates are intended to remove the friction that often forces users to bypass security controls when traditional RBI tools disrupt productivity.
RBI is fully integrated into KeeperPAM, Keeper’s cloud-native privileged access management platform, and is also available as a self-hosted, on-premises deployment. Built by the original creators of Apache Guacamole, Keeper’s session management technology supports fast, agentless access with full session recording and zero-knowledge encryption.
The new RBI enhancements will be rolled out through Gateway 2.24 and Keeper Vault 17.6 in the coming weeks.
