Keeper Security’s latest report with EMA highlights the increasing sophistication of cyber threats and emphasizes the critical role of advanced PAM solutions and zero-trust security in protecting organizational assets. Despite the challenges of traditional PAM solutions, Keeper’s innovative KeeperPAM offers a cost-effective and user-friendly alternative for modern security needs.

23 May 2024 – Keeper Security, the foremost provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge cybersecurity solutions, has released the “Information Security and Compliance Future Trends 2024” report in collaboration with Enterprise Management Associates (EMA). The report highlights the escalating sophistication of cyber attacks, with 95% of IT and security leaders acknowledging the increased complexity. Despite this, the core principles of cybersecurity remain vital, emphasizing the importance of robust password and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions to create a resilient security framework.

The cybersecurity landscape is poised for significant advancements driven by artificial intelligence, regulatory changes, and evolving security models. “The industry is set for ongoing innovation,” stated Christopher Steffen, Vice President of Research at EMA. “Organizations that proactively adapt will be better equipped to protect their data and assets from emerging threats.”

Darren Guccione, CEO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, noted the urgency of securing passwords, credentials, secrets, and connections amid rapid technological changes and an increasing number of devices. He emphasized the need for proactive strategies to combat both existing and new threats.

PAM solutions are becoming increasingly recognized as critical for enhancing security and mitigating risks. Research indicates a rise in Google search interest in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and PAM, reflecting a growing awareness of the importance of access controls. A significant 91% of IT leaders report that their PAM solutions provide greater control over privileged user activities, reducing the risk of insider and external breaches.

However, traditional PAM solutions face challenges due to high costs, complex deployment, and user difficulties. EMA’s research shows that 45% of organizations prioritize tool consolidation when investing in new solutions, seeking streamlined and integrated cybersecurity tools.

Keeper Security’s next-generation KeeperPAM solution addresses these issues, offering a cost-effective, user-friendly option for modern, perimeterless, and multi-cloud environments. It provides comprehensive visibility, security, reporting, and control for every user, device, and location within an organization.

The growing demand for zero-trust and zero-knowledge security solutions is evident, with 62% of organizations embarking on zero-trust initiatives. Craig Lurey, CTO and Co-founder of Keeper Security, emphasized the transformative potential of zero-trust methodologies, stating, “Keeper is at the forefront of this revolution, committed to providing advanced solutions that enable secure and efficient digital navigation for businesses of all sizes.”
