SINGAPORE, 22 JANUARY 2026 – Keeper Security has rolled out instant account switching and enhanced passkey capabilities across its iOS and Android mobile applications, as well as its browser extension for major web browsers. The updates are designed to improve usability while maintaining enterprise-grade zero-trust and zero-knowledge security controls for managing passwords, passkeys, infrastructure secrets and privileged access.
The new instant account switching feature allows users to securely toggle between multiple Keeper accounts on the same device or browser without logging out. This supports common workflows where individuals manage personal, family and business accounts, enabling seamless access across platforms without weakening security posture.
Users can switch accounts directly from the login screen or account menu, with instant access granted when sessions remain active on the backend. When required by organizational policies, re-authentication is enforced, ensuring all enterprise safeguards such as role-based access control, device verification, multi-factor authentication and audit logging remain fully intact.
Alongside account switching, Keeper introduced several performance and usability enhancements to streamline credential and vault access. Embedded autofill cloud sync ensures updates are quickly reflected across devices, while improved search functionality prioritizes recently accessed records for faster retrieval.
Keeper is also advancing passwordless adoption through conditional passkey creation, allowing eligible logins to be automatically upgraded to passkeys in the background with user notification. The latest enhancements are now available on Keeper for iOS, Android and the Keeper Browser Extension, with desktop vault support for account switching expected in a future release.
