SINGAPORE, 25 SEPTEMBER 2026 – Keeper Security, a leading provider of zero-trust and zero-knowledge identity protection, has introduced a new integration that brings access approval management and secure credential retrieval directly into Google Chat. The release extends zero-trust identity governance across Google Workspace ecosystems, allowing enterprise teams to manage privileged credentials within their daily collaboration channels.
By embedding security workflows into Google Chat, the integration resolves operational barriers for organizations relying on Google Workspace. System administrators can process vault access requests, review justification notes, assign granular permissions, and handle real-time elevation requests without toggling between multiple security tools.
Craig Lurey, Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of Keeper Security, emphasized the importance of delivering access controls inside active team communication tools. He noted that integrating directly with chat keeps core infrastructure isolated because the chat app functions solely as an interface, while verification and end-to-end encryption execute locally to ensure credentials never exist in transit to external networks.
The Google Chat integration operates on an organization’s existing infrastructure via Commander Service Mode, preserving end-to-end encryption and ensuring zero knowledge of sensitive credentials outside local environments.
Key functionality provided by the integration includes:
