Keeper Security has launched a Slack integration that allows organisations to manage and approve privileged access directly within Slack while maintaining centralised zero-trust enforcement through Keeper. The move aims to modernise access workflows without compromising security, compliance or governance.
SINGAPORE, 27 JANUARY 2026 – Keeper Security has launched a new Slack integration that extends its zero-trust and zero-knowledge Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities into one of the world’s most widely used workplace collaboration platforms. The integration enables organisations to request and approve access to sensitive resources directly within Slack, while keeping enforcement, encryption, auditing and compliance fully managed by Keeper.
As Slack becomes a central hub for operational coordination, approvals and incident response, the integration introduces access governance without disrupting existing workflows. Requests for shared folders, credentials, service accounts and protected applications can be initiated and approved within Slack, while Keeper Vault remains the system of record for access control and cryptographic enforcement.
The integration is designed with a clear separation of responsibilities, ensuring Slack functions solely as a workflow interface rather than a security boundary. Both the Slack app and Keeper Commander containers are hosted by customers, preserving Keeper’s zero-knowledge architecture and ensuring organisations retain full control over encryption and decryption of their data.
By embedding access approvals into an established collaboration environment, organisations can eliminate insecure approval methods such as email chains, direct messages or screenshots. Access is granted on a Just-in-Time basis with no standing privileges, and all requests, approvals and access events are logged centrally to support audit and compliance requirements across cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments.
The Slack integration aligns with Keeper’s broader strategy to extend zero-trust access governance into systems where work and decisions already occur, without fragmenting security controls or introducing new attack surfaces. The solution is now available to Keeper customers worldwide.
