MALAYSIA, 24 DECEMBER 2025 – In conjunction with its 90th anniversary, Kärcher Cleaning Systems Sdn. Bhd. reaffirmed its commitment to environmental stewardship and community support by sponsoring professional cleaning equipment to Zoo Negara. The handover ceremony, held on 19 December, marked a strategic partnership aimed at enhancing the zoo’s maintenance standards through sustainable, high-performance solutions.
The sponsored equipment, valued at RM40,592, includes the HD6/15 G Classic Pressure Washer, LB 930/36 BP Leaf Blower with high-performance batteries, and the Hose Trolley HT 3.420 Kit 5/8. Designed for efficiency and environmental responsibility, the tools are intended to support daily cleaning operations across animal enclosures, walkways, and landscaped areas within the zoo.
The HD6/15 G Classic Pressure Washer is suited for heavy-duty outdoor cleaning and can operate independently of a power supply, making it ideal for large open spaces. The LB 930/36 BP Leaf Blower delivers powerful yet low-noise performance, enabling effective debris clearing without disturbing animals, while the Hose Trolley system improves water hose management and operational efficiency.
The event began with a corporate social responsibility programme, during which Kärcher employees carried out cleaning activities at selected zoo areas using the sponsored equipment. A formal handover ceremony followed, attended by President of the Malaysian Zoological Society YBhg. Dato’ Sr. Zaharin Md. Arif and Deputy President YBhg. Datuk Rosly Lana.
