Sept 23, 2013 (Mon): Kakao Corp recently has upgraded its global mobile messenger, KakaoTalk to version 4.0 with a revamped look, new features and brand identity in line with its service philosophy of developing and evolving continuously with users at the core.
The new version provides users with easier interface to start chatting and receive calls using hilarious voice filters. It also comes with new features include users greeted with a new splash screen upon upgrade, options such as “notification”, “invite”, “leave” and “setting” in chat rooms replicated to a soft key menu, while in “chats” tab, a floating icon has been added to end the session, a location sharing feature and Yellow, KakaoTalk’s representative colour, being more visible across the service.
KakaoTalk v4.0 currently is now available on Play Store and it will be rolled for iOS within this year.
