Myanmar (Jul 12, 2013): Japan Credit Bureau International (JCBI) has signed a Master License agreement with the Myanmar Payment Union (MPU) for JCB cards acceptance across Myanmar, the Banking and Payment Asia reported. Under the agreement, member banks of MPU able to accept JCB cards which will begin in autumn 2013. JCBI and MPU are reported also exploring the possibility of JCB cards issuing in the country.
