Intel has introduced laptops powered by its latest Core Ultra Series 3 processors in Malaysia, bringing advanced AI capabilities, improved performance, and energy efficiency to consumers and businesses. MALAYSIA, 22 APRIL 2026 – Intel has officially rolled out laptops powered by its latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors in Malaysia, marking a significant step forward in the evolution of AI-powered personal computing. The new generation of processors, first unveiled at CES 2026, is designed to deliver enhanced performance, graphics capabilities, and energy efficiency to support the growing demand for intelligent computing.
Leading global PC manufacturers including ASUS, Acer, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI are now offering devices equipped with the new processors, available through major retailers nationwide. This launch enables both consumers and businesses in Malaysia to access a new class of AI-powered laptops tailored for productivity, creativity, and collaboration.
Built on Intel’s advanced 18A process, the Core Ultra Series 3 processors introduce a refined architecture that integrates a central processing unit, graphics processing unit, and a neural processing unit. This combination enables accelerated on-device AI workloads, unlocking capabilities such as AI-driven productivity tools, enhanced content creation, and smarter collaboration features.
The processors deliver notable improvements in efficiency, offering extended battery life alongside powerful performance. With an integrated neural processing unit capable of delivering up to 50 TOPS of AI compute, the platform supports demanding AI applications directly on the device. Additionally, the inclusion of next-generation Xe3 graphics enhances both gaming and visual performance.
Globally, more than 200 laptop designs are expected to feature the Core Ultra Series 3 processors across consumer, gaming, and commercial segments. In Malaysia, users can anticipate a diverse lineup ranging from ultra-portable laptops to high-performance systems for creators and gamers throughout 2026.
Intel emphasized that the launch represents a key milestone in its client computing roadmap, highlighting continued advancements in delivering more efficient platforms with integrated AI capabilities for everyday use.
To further expand access to AI-enabled computing, Intel has also introduced the Core Series 3 processors, targeting more affordable device categories such as those used by students, families, and small businesses. Built on the same architectural foundation and manufacturing process, these processors aim to bring improved performance and AI readiness to a wider audience.
Compared to older systems, the Core Series 3 processors deliver substantial performance gains, including up to 47 percent improvement in single-thread performance, 41 percent in multi-thread performance, and up to 2.8 times better GPU AI performance. The platform also supports modern connectivity standards such as Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6, while offering up to 40 platform TOPS for AI workloads.
More than 70 device designs powered by Core Series 3 processors are expected to be introduced globally in the coming months, further strengthening Intel’s push to democratize AI-powered computing experiences.
