Humanforce has launched Humanforce Connect, a new operating system designed to help frontline employers manage both internal and external workforce fulfilment more efficiently. The platform combines roster management, agency coordination and labour marketplace access to improve compliance, staffing speed and cost control.

AUSTRALIA, 14 APRIL 2026 – Humanforce has launched Humanforce Connect, a new operating system designed to help frontline employers manage workforce fulfilment across both internal and external labour pools. The platform aims to improve labour visibility, compliance and cost control through a single connected system.

Humanforce has announced the launch of Humanforce Connect, which it describes as the first operating system purpose-built to manage frontline and flexible workforce fulfilment end-to-end.

The new platform combines roster creation, internal workforce activation, private marketplace access, agency vendor management and contingent workforce orchestration into a single system. This enables employers to move from compliant labour demand planning through to governed fulfilment using both internal staff and external labour sources.

Humanforce said the launch addresses a longstanding operational challenge for frontline industries such as healthcare, aged care, hospitality, stadia, retail and logistics, where labour shortages, last-minute absences and fluctuating staffing needs often push workforce management outside formal systems into fragmented manual processes.

According to Clayton Pyne, many frontline employers can build compliant rosters, but struggle to manage how work gets filled once internal labour pools are exhausted.

He said Humanforce Connect is designed to bring fragmented external fulfilment processes — including agency staffing, labour hire, private labour networks and trusted marketplaces — into a governed digital environment.

The company said the platform is intended not only to improve operational efficiency but also to create more flexible and higher-quality digital work experiences for frontline workers.

Humanforce Connect was built through the strategic acquisitions of Emprevo and ShiftMatch, which add complementary capabilities to Humanforce’s broader workforce management platform.

Emprevo contributes private work marketplace functionality, allowing organisations to connect their own workforce, known external workers and preferred agency partners in a controlled labour ecosystem.

ShiftMatch adds intelligent contingent workforce orchestration, with an automated matching engine that helps organisations coordinate internal relief pools and external labour through governed escalation workflows. Humanforce said ShiftMatch customers have seen shift fill rate improvements of up to 90%.

Together, the two acquisitions complete the labour fulfilment layer of Humanforce’s platform, expanding beyond core workforce management functions such as rostering, attendance, compliance, costing and payroll.

Humanforce said the launch also builds on its earlier acquisition of LiveHire, which strengthened its capabilities in talent pools and worker identity management.

By integrating workforce planning, fulfilment and compliance into a single platform, Humanforce aims to help frontline employers improve staffing speed, reduce costs and gain full visibility over both permanent and contingent workers.
