Key partners shared their experiences on diving into cloud, and Huawei introduced the “Leap2Cloud” initiative to transition from virtualization to cloud. 29 April 2024- At the Huawei Digital and Intelligent APAC Congress 2024, the Huawei Cloud Stack Summit, themed “Dive into Cloud and Accelerate Intelligent Upgrade,” was held. During the summit, Huawei Cloud launched Huawei Cloud Stack 8.3, the industry’s first hybrid cloud for large AI models, and the Visions of Diving into Cloud white paper, aiming to empower customers in Asia Pacific to accelerate data-AI convergence.
Key partners such as the Office of the National Digital Economy (ONDE) in Thailand, Advanced Info Service (AIS) in Thailand, Bank Neo Commerce (BNC) in Indonesia, and Chinasoft International delivered keynote speeches, sharing their experiences on diving into cloud. Additionally, Huawei introduced the “Leap2Cloud” initiative, aiming to collaborate with government and enterprise customers in Asia Pacific to transition from virtualization to cloud, unlocking infinite cloud possibilities.
Huawei Cloud Stack 8.3, released by Hu Yuhai, Vice President of Huawei Hybrid Cloud, provides a solid cloud foundation and five innovative capabilities covering databases, mainframe modernization, data lakes, large AI models, and industrial Internet. It offers high availability, robust security, multi-architecture compute, and an open, resilient cloud native infrastructure, reinforcing cloud services and key features.
Johnny Lyu, CTO of Huawei Hybrid Cloud for International Business, announced the industry’s first hybrid cloud for large AI models, integrated with Pangu models into Huawei Cloud Stack. This solution enables enterprises to build their own large AI models and offers comprehensive AI pipelines, including computing platforms, cloud services, development kits, and professional services.
Moreover, Tan Shijie, Vice President of Asia Pacific Cloud Solution Sales, introduced Huawei Cloud Stack’s achievements in Asia Pacific, positioning it as a hybrid cloud leader in the emerging region. With more than 5,500 government and enterprise customers globally, Huawei Cloud Stack continues to spur innovation and develop customer-centric services to drive the digital economy’s development in Asia Pacific.
