Huawei’s Eco Partner Connect 2025 event in Bangkok showcased its expanding digital ecosystem and strategic regional partnerships, emphasizing intelligent wearables, AI-driven marketing, and cross-border collaboration to boost digital experiences across Southeast Asia and China.
THAILAND, 25 JULY 2025 – Huawei successfully hosted “Eco Partner Connect (EPC) 2025” at One Bangkok, drawing influential partners and industry leaders from across Southeast Asia. The event spotlighted Huawei’s vision of building an intelligent, integrated ecosystem—anchored by its latest device innovations and strategic collaborations.
A key highlight was the HUAWEI Pura80 Series showcase, giving attendees a hands-on experience with Huawei’s cutting-edge mobile technology, underscoring its focus on elevating user experiences through seamless innovation.
Opening the event, Rachel Zhou, Director of Consumer Cloud Service, Huawei APAC, emphasized the company’s “1+8+N” strategy, which enables global partners to scale through Huawei’s AI-powered, cross-device ecosystem. This strategy connects smartphones, wearables, and smart devices under one seamless AI life architecture.
Daniel Ouyang, Principal Business Sales Director, detailed Huawei’s evolution into a global digital content powerhouse, reaching over 170 countries and engaging 580 million monthly active users (MAUs). He positioned Huawei wearables as intelligent health and lifestyle hubs at the forefront of next-gen consumer experiences.
Huawei also reinforced its role as a strategic partner in international market expansion, unveiling Petal Ads as a key enabler for smart, targeted advertising across local and global markets—particularly in China. Kevin Zang, Head of Petal Ads APAC, presented the platform’s capacity to precisely engage audiences through device-integrated marketing tools.
A local highlight was a presentation by Kitsana Kanpakdi, a Thai Huawei Watch Face Developer, who shared insights on popular wearable design trends, including integrating Thai cultural motifs and intellectual properties (IPs). His work exemplifies Huawei’s commitment to fostering local creativity within its global wearables ecosystem.
On the retail front, Tanavan Arkaleephan, Senior Director at Siam Piwat, shared the group’s deep integration with Huawei’s platforms—including SkyTone, Quick App, and Petal Ads—to deliver frictionless travel experiences and targeted privileges for Chinese tourists. As the only Thai retail group with this level of partnership, Siam Piwat leverages Huawei’s ecosystem across key destinations like Siam Paragon, ICONSIAM, and Siam Premium Outlets to attract high-quality international visitors.
