Huawei Cloud convened insurance leaders in Thailand to explore how AI and cloud technologies can accelerate digital transformation in the industry. The initiative reinforces its role as a strategic partner in building secure, scalable, and future-ready insurance systems.


THAILAND, 20 APRIL 2026 – Huawei Cloud Thailand, in collaboration with The Thai Life Assurance Association, hosted an executive forum that brought together more than 30 senior executives and technology leaders from leading insurance companies. The event underscores Huawei Cloud’s commitment to supporting Thailand’s transition toward a digital and AI-driven economy.

The forum provided a platform for industry leaders to exchange insights on the future of insurance in the era of cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Among the highlights was its Digital Core Insurance Solution, which enables insurers to migrate from traditional legacy systems to modern cloud-native architectures, enhancing agility, simplifying maintenance, and improving customer experience.

Another key offering presented was GaussDB, an enterprise-grade database designed to support high-performance, mission-critical workloads with strong reliability and security across multiple data centers.

Piyatida Itiravivongs, President of Huawei Cloud Thailand, emphasized that digital transformation has become a strategic priority for the insurance sector. She highlighted Huawei Cloud’s commitment to helping insurers enhance operational efficiency and deliver improved customer experiences through advanced technologies.

Meanwhile, Huang Hu from Sinosoft shared insights on successful collaborations that leverage cloud-based architectures to modernize insurance platforms.
