HP Malaysia unveiled a sweeping lineup of AI-powered devices, security innovations and workplace solutions at HP Elevate 2026, reaffirming its commitment to shaping the future of work in an increasingly AI-driven economy. The launch comes as over one in four Malaysian businesses now embrace AI, signalling a critical shift from experimentation to real-world execution.

MALAYSIA, 15 JUNE 2026 – HP Malaysia has taken a bold step forward in the artificial intelligence space, launching a comprehensive range of AI-enabled devices, intelligent print solutions and next-generation security tools at HP Elevate 2026, held recently in Kuala Lumpur.

The event served as the platform for HP to introduce HP IQ, a connected intelligent ecosystem that ties together AI PCs, workplace devices, and the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP) to deliver smarter, more seamless work experiences for businesses of all sizes.

The announcement arrives at a pivotal moment for Malaysian enterprises. According to a 2025 AWS report, more than one in four Malaysian businesses now actively use AI, a jump from 20% the previous year, with approximately 2.4 million businesses having adopted the technology in total. Despite this progress, many organisations are still in the early stages of adoption, underlining the urgency for solutions that can bridge the gap between AI potential and practical business outcomes.

Alex Tan, Managing Director of HP Inc. Malaysia, noted that the country is entering a new phase of digital maturity. Organisations, he said, are no longer just testing AI — they are seeking tangible results in productivity and decision-making, and HP intends to be the partner that makes that transition possible.

At the heart of the launch is HP IQ, designed to coordinate experiences across select HP AI PCs and workplace devices. By combining on-device AI, HP NearSense technology and deep integration with WXP, the platform promises to reduce digital friction, minimise task switching and give IT teams centralised visibility across the entire workplace ecosystem.

HP also introduced several new devices targeting professionals, creatives and gamers. The HP EliteBook X Flip G2i and HP EliteBook X G2i, both Copilot+ PCs featuring next-generation Intel Core Ultra processors with up to 50 NPU TOPS, cater to mobile professionals requiring enterprise-grade performance and HP Wolf Security protections on the go.

For desktop users, the HP EliteBoard G1a reimagines the form factor entirely, embedding an AI-powered PC into a sleek keyboard design powered by AMD Ryzen AI processors. The HP OmniBook Ultra 14 rounds out the professional lineup with an ultra-portable frame built for creators and power users alike.

Gamers were not left out, with the HyperX OMEN 15 making its debut in Malaysia. Featuring NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics and OMEN AI, the laptop automatically fine-tunes system and game settings for an optimised one-click gaming experience.

For heavy-duty creative and technical workloads, HP introduced the HP ZBook X G2i mobile workstation and the HP Z8 Fury G6i desktop, both equipped with Intel processors, optional NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell graphics and memory configurations designed to handle 3D rendering, AI development and data-intensive simulations.

On the print front, the HP LaserJet Pro 4112fdw Multifunction Printer brings AI capabilities to document management, generating summaries and filenames automatically, while incorporating quantum-resistant security to safeguard sensitive business data.

Security also took centre stage at the event. HP unveiled HP TPM Guard, described as the world’s first business notebook protection against physical TPM bus attacks, alongside expanded HP Wolf Security capabilities that deepen integration with WXP and enterprise environments to bolster cyber resilience across the board.

Beyond its product portfolio, HP reaffirmed its long-term investment in Malaysia through its Penang manufacturing facility, HP Malaysia Manufacturing, which produces more than 80% of HP’s consumer print supplies for global markets and supplies inkjet cartridges to 175 countries. The facility employs over 1,000 local talents, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a strategic hub within HP’s global supply chain.
