Hexnode has rolled out a major upgrade to Hexnode GenieAI, introducing a conversational interface that enables IT teams to manage devices, troubleshoot issues, and execute commands using natural language. The enhancement aims to reduce operational fatigue and accelerate decision-making for enterprises across Southeast Asia.
SINGAPORE, 6 FEBRUARY 2026 – Hexnode has announced a major upgrade to Hexnode GenieAI, its AI-powered assistant built to simplify and accelerate endpoint management operations, as IT teams across Southeast Asia face increasing operational demands. The enhanced GenieAI is now embedded directly within the Hexnode Unified Endpoint Management console, introducing a conversational interface that allows administrators to retrieve device insights, execute commands, and automate troubleshooting through natural language interactions.
The upgrade represents a fundamental shift in how IT teams engage with their device ecosystems. By replacing traditional dashboard-heavy workflows with conversational queries, GenieAI enables faster decision-making, streamlined execution, and more responsive management across complex enterprise environments.
One of the key enhancements addresses a long-standing challenge in device management: the time-consuming process of locating relevant information during critical incidents. Integrated with live device inventory, GenieAI allows administrators to query their entire device fleet conversationally and receive instant, context-aware insights. This significantly reduces dashboard fatigue and accelerates issue discovery, enabling IT teams to focus on resolution rather than investigation.
Beyond insights, GenieAI introduces intelligent troubleshooting and automated remediation capabilities. IT teams can now initiate device management actions using simple natural-language instructions, reducing reliance on manual workflows. When issues occur, GenieAI quickly identifies root causes and provides clear remediation guidance, allowing fixes to be applied directly from the interface and shortening resolution times.
The upgrade also adds a dedicated scripting terminal that supports Windows, Linux, and macOS devices. This feature enables administrators to execute custom commands across platforms through a simplified and intuitive interface, enhancing operational flexibility and control.
Hexnode said the latest expansion aligns with its broader vision of building a truly intelligent UEM platform. The company plans to extend GenieAI’s conversational intelligence and automation capabilities to its Hexnode XDR platform, bringing similar efficiencies to advanced threat detection and security operations.
