Nov 26, 2013 (Tue): According to the Contactless Payment Cards: Market Prospects 2013-2018 report by Juniper Research, 249 million cards will be used for contactless payments next year, driven by the global migration to EMV standards-based CHIP & PIN and rising contactless infrastructure at the Point of Sale, especially in the key markets such as Australia, Canada, Poland, the UK and the US.
