Terry KS Fri, May 31, 2013: According to Gartner Inc., worldwide security software revenue recorded at US$19.2 billion (RM59.01 billion) in 2012, increased 7.9 per cent compared with US$17.7 billion (RM54.40 billion) in 2011.
Based on the below table by Gartner, Symantec remains as market leader with market share of 19.6 per cent, followed by McAfee (8.8%), Trend Micro (6.1%), IBM (5.0%) and EMC (3.7%).
