FreeYond, a consumer tech company based in Shenzhen, has launched its brand and products in Malaysia at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur. FreeYond’s smartphones, M5 and F9, feature an AI Triple Camera setup with a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The M5 also has a 6.52-inch screen with a high refresh rate of 90Hz and 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The F9 has 64GB or 128GB high-speed ROM, a 13MP main camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 5,000mAh battery for all-day usage.

The FreeYond Watch S1 and FreeYond Watch F1 are designed for fitness enthusiasts and lifestyle-conscious consumers. They offer a range of advanced features that enable users to track their fitness, monitor their health, and stay connected on the go.

“We are thrilled to be launching our brand and products in Malaysia,” said Dr. Lei Yu, Founder and CEO of FreeYond. “Our mission is to provide innovative and user-friendly products to consumers worldwide, and we are excited to bring our offerings to Malaysia. We are confident that our products will make a positive impact on the lives of consumers in this market.”

YB Fahmi Fadzil, the Minister of Communications and Digital Malaysia, said that the launch of FreeYond’s affordable products would help to establish inclusivity and accessibility of digital products and services for all Malaysians. He believes that the launch marks a new turning point for Malaysia’s digital landscape.

Overall, FreeYond’s launch in Malaysia marks a significant milestone for the company as it expands its reach into a new market and introduces its products with cutting-edge technology to Malaysian consumers.
