US: Forrester Research, a global research and advisory firm, in its latest report says that eCommerce in U.S. will continue to grow rapidly and the eCommerce transaction is expected to grow at 13 per cent to reach RM817.31 billion (US$262 billion) this year. Forrester also projected that the sales will reach RM1.15 trillion (US$370 billion) in 2017.
Forrester has identified two major drivers of the growth. First, bricks and mortar retailers are expected to increase investment in their e-commerce divisions. Second, continued growth in of tablets and smartphones is leading to increased time spent online.
