Over 500 event, marketing, and hospitality leaders gathered at Fairmont Singapore for the fifth edition of Cvent Accelerate Singapore, which highlighted the evolution of events into primary revenue channels. The event showcased Cvent’s upgraded AI capabilities, new global brand identity, and a planned one billion dollar commitment to event technology through 2029.

SINGAPORE, 10 AUGUST 2026 – Cvent brought together more than 500 event, marketing, and hospitality professionals at Fairmont Singapore for the fifth edition of Cvent Accelerate Singapore. As one of the region’s top industry gatherings, the event focused on solving critical operational challenges through practical, technology-driven solutions.

Throughout the keynotes, executive panels, and hands-on technology sessions led by over 20 industry experts, conversations underscored a clear shift in perspective: events are no longer viewed as mere support functions. Instead, organizations are treating them as essential growth channels to build pipelines and drive business outcomes across sales, marketing, and customer success.

Will Kataria, Country Head and Senior Director for Singapore at Cvent, noted that Asia-Pacific professionals have moved past debating the role of artificial intelligence in event technology. The current focus centers on practical applications that seamlessly connect people, data, and outcomes into measurable results.

The event feature included a live demonstration of CventIQ, the platform’s AI-driven intelligence layer. Attendees also reviewed upcoming product features originally introduced at Cvent CONNECT 2026 in Nashville. Sessions such as Decoding the Shift: B2B Event Trends and The Path Forward in the AI Age drew significant interest for their pragmatic look at daily planning, marketing, and venue sourcing. For hospitality specialists, the Hospitality Solutions AI Booth demonstrated how AI simplifies venue selection and enhances property visibility for planners.

This year’s conference also marked the regional launch of Cvent’s revamped global brand identity, organized around the concept of the Presence Premium. According to Cvent research conducted with Forrester Consulting, 70% of business leaders believe in-person events hold greater importance in an AI-dominated digital landscape, while separate research by Censuswide found that 81% reported increased audience trust following live interactions.

To maintain this momentum, Cvent announced plans to invest more than 1 billion USD in technology, AI, and product innovation between 2026 and 2029. The Cvent Accelerate regional tour continues next in Sydney on August 11, 2026.
