MALAYSIA: The leading social network Facebook on Thursday launched Facebook Home which is software to turn your Android phone into a great, living, social phone. Home will make your phone become immersed in “cover feed”, replacing the lock screen and home screen of your phone and telling your friends’ recent activities.
Cover feed will notify you and showing your friend profile picture when he or she posting on your Facebook’s timeline. To open notifications, just tap them. And if you don’t want to deal with them right now, you can just swipe to hide them and keep flipping through cover feed until you want them back.
Facebook Home also features “Chat Heads” which making a chat head appears with your friend’s face and message delivered to you no matter what you’re doing – whether you’re checking email, browsing the web, or listening to music.

According to Facebook, users can download Home from the Google Play store for free starting April 12, 2013 but it only works on the HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung GALAXY S III and Samsung GALAXY Note II. Home will also work on the forthcoming HTC One and Samsung GALAXY S4, and on more devices in the coming months.
