Facebook acquires Microsoft’s campaign measurement tool

MALAYSIA: The leading social network Facebook announced that the company agreed to acquire the Atlas Advertise Suite (Atlas), a platform of campaign management and measurement for marketers and agencies from Microsoft.

With Atlas, marketers and agencies able to measure advertising campaigns run on Facebook and understand deeper on the effectiveness of the campaign. Many marketers that advertise on Facebook today use Atlas since appointment of Atlas as Facebook’s measurement partner in June.

Facebook said they will invest to enhance Atlas’ capabilities including improve its current suite of advertiser tools on desktop and mobile as well as the user interface.
