22 March 2024 – Evolving Brilliance Technologies (EB Tech), a leading Sarawakian tech startup, in collaboration with MSQ Engineering and Prince of Songkla University, has marked a significant milestone in environmental sustainability with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Joint Venture Agreement. The partnership aims to propel discussions on the Carbon Credit Management project in Thailand, in response to the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment’s call for expanded Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting and carbon neutrality initiatives.
The signing ceremony, held last month in Hatyai, Thailand, brought together key stakeholders, including Deputy Minister Capt Rachata Pisithabannakorn, to explore avenues for advancing Thailand’s environmental agenda. The project, aligned with the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS), Verra, and Gold Standards, seeks to position Thailand as a frontrunner in global Carbon Credit trading, fostering innovation and efficiency in emission reduction strategies.
