Terry KS Sat, Jun 1, 2013: Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL), the operator of KLIA Transit service will implement new automatic ticketing system for the KLIA Ekspres service on June 5, the news agency Bernama reported.
The new system allows travellers to buy the tickets online at its official website, www.KLIAekspres.com or via KLIA Ekspres mobile application which works for Android and iOS devices. After purchase done, the passengers will be provided with a QR barcode ticket which is used as a virtual ticket to pass through the ticketing gates at the KLIA Ekspres stations. Besides online purchase, passengers also can buy use Touch N’ Go card and VISA PayWave card to pay for services fare at the gates and pass through immediately.
