The Employees Provident Fund (EPF) has introduced i-Akaun, a facility allowing EPF members to access its services such as checking their beneficiary, tracking EPF contributions and withdrawal information online at www.kwsp.gov.my which is available 24/7 instead of need to visit an EPF branch during office hours.
To promote the use of i-Akaun among EPF members, EPF will run an advertising campaign ‘Rest Easy’ sharing the benefits and security of using i-Akaun, including its new feature – Transaction Authorization Code (TAC). In the event that members or employers forget their User IDs or Passwords, a TAC will be sent via short message service (SMS) to their registered hand phone to allow for the safe completion of their online process via i-Akaun.
