U.S. (July 18, 2013): In the second quarter 2013 financial report of eBay Inc., the company has recorded its net revenue at US$3.9 billion (RM12.44 billion), an increase of 14 per cent compared to the same period of 2012.
For its PayPal, strong performance was recorded for this business unit with revenue increasing 20 per cent to US$1.6 billion (RM5.1 billion) while its marketplaces delivered revenue of US$2.0 billion (RM6.38 billion), increasing 10 per cent, or 12 per cent excluding the gain from the resolution of an indirect tax dispute in 2012.
