Rebecca PY Dyson has introduced its first portable handheld fan, the HushJet Mini Cool Fan, combining powerful airflow with compact, wearable design. Engineered for mobility, the device delivers up to 25m/s airflow with quiet acoustics and up to six hours of battery life.
MALAYSIA, 10 APRIL 2026 – Dyson has launched the HushJet Mini Cool Fan, marking its entry into the portable handheld cooling segment with a device designed for modern, on-the-go lifestyles. Weighing just 212g, the compact fan is built for versatility, functioning as a handheld, wearable, or desk-mounted cooling solution.
Powered by a high-speed brushless DC motor spinning up to 65,000 RPM, the HushJet Mini Cool Fan delivers airflow speeds of up to 25 metres per second. Users can choose from five airflow settings, along with a Boost mode for more intense cooling, making it adaptable for various environments—from quiet workspaces to outdoor heat.
According to Chief Engineer Jake Dyson, the new product reflects more than a decade of innovation in airflow engineering. Since 2009, the company has focused on refining air projection, reducing turbulence, and enhancing thermal performance, culminating in a portable solution that brings advanced cooling technology into a compact form.
A notable design element is the 38mm engineering benchmark, a signature measurement in Dyson’s product development that represents its focus on making devices smaller, lighter, and more efficient. This dimension is shared across several Dyson products, including its Supersonic hair dryer and PencilVac, reinforcing consistency in its engineering philosophy.
The HushJet projection system enables fast and effective cooling while maintaining acoustic comfort. Dyson has reduced high-frequency noise and motor whine, delivering what it describes as “pitch-perfect” airflow for a more pleasant user experience.
In addition to performance, Dyson has emphasised design and personalisation. The fan is available in three finishes—Ink/Cobalt, Carnelian/Sky, and Stone/Blush—each crafted to evoke different moods, from bold and vibrant to calm and sophisticated.
The device comes with a range of standard accessories, including a neck dock for hands-free use, a charging stand, a USB-C cable, and a travel pouch. Optional add-ons such as a universal mount and grip clip offer further flexibility, allowing users to attach the fan to prams, bags, or clothing.
Dyson has opened registration for early interest ahead of the product’s official launch in Malaysia, as it continues to expand its portfolio of personal technology designed for convenience and mobility.
