DiGi rolls out 14,000 new electronic payment touch points nationwide

DiGi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (“DiGi”) has expanded and upgraded its electronic flexible payment platform infrastructure to 14,000 new customer touch points nationwide, which will create greater convenience to all its postpaid and prepaid customers especially for those reside in rural and suburban areas in the country.

This platform also supports bill payment by postpaid customers, enabling them to make advance or deposit payments, and transact outstanding balance payments for terminated accounts via DiGi’s network of dealers. Postpaid customers can even request for their outstanding bill balance as well as unbilled amount to settle their bills at participating DiGi dealer outlets.

“With the new system in place, we are able to extend our dealership touch points in areas where our expanded customer base has grown. It also accords the added advantage to provide simple yet relevant services to our postpaid customers via our extended network of dealers and street vendors,” said Chuah Teong Hooi, DiGi’s Head of Product Development.
