Crowdfunding platform Indiegogo selects Adyen as global payment partner

US: The largest global crowdfunding platform Indiegogo has selected Adyen to provide online payments processing for its international customers starting with Europe and Canada, according to the announcement by Adyen.

In addition to processing European and Canadian credit card payments, Adyen will provide support for a number of preferred local payment methods throughout Europe, including Maestro (UK), Carte Bleue (France), Sofortuberweisung (Germany, Austria), Giropay (Germany), iDeal (Netherlands), TrustPay (multiple countries throughout Eastern Europe), and bank transfer payments throughout Europe, to help Indiegogo collects and distributes contributions of the campaigns in local currency.
