MALAYSIA, 1 SEPTEMBER 2026 – CelcomDigi Berhad and HELP University have entered into a strategic collaboration to nurture high-potential Malaysian students into industry-ready digital talent through work-based learning, industry mentorship, and experiential opportunities.
The partnership centers on establishing a Work-Based Learning framework aligned with the 2U1I model, which structuredly divides a student’s degree into two years of university education followed by one year of hands-on industry exposure. Students will gain real-world project experience in the telecommunications and technology sector, supported by guidance from experienced CelcomDigi professionals.
A major pillar of the alliance is the establishment of an AI Hub at HELP University. The hub will connect academia and industry through applied artificial intelligence projects, joint research, talent development, and technical knowledge exchanges.
Beyond undergraduate development, the initiative extends lifelong learning opportunities to CelcomDigi employees and their children. HELP University will offer accessible pathways ranging from short courses and micro-credentials to executive education and professional certifications.
By bridging higher education with real-world industry demands, both organizations aim to strengthen graduate employability and drive sustainable growth across Malaysia’s evolving digital economy.
