Carrefour Indonesia enters e-commerce by launching “Click and Drive” programme

The hypermarket giant Carrefour Indonesia launched its e-commerce programme namely “Carrefour Click & Drive”. Their customers just need to buy and make payment online at, select their collection point and date, and then drive through the selected collection point to pick up their purchased items. The program is now only offer for a single collection point, the Carrefour’s flagship store located in Lebak Bulus.

According to Adrian Barthel, marketing manager of Carrefour Indonesia, the participating outlet has allocated a specific area where their customers can park their car there easily and wait for the Carrefour team to deliver their purchased items.

Carrefour Indonesia’s Head of Public Affair, Satria Hamid said this program is the first launched in Asia among the hypermarkets. “At the moment, we have 300 to 500 transactions per day for Lebak Bulus outlet. We are going to launch this service to other outlets too,” Hamid added.
