“We believe in providing access to quality healthcare for everyone, and we’re honored to contribute to improving the lives of these women. Our donation aims to raise awareness about early detection and significantly contribute to the fight against breast cancer in Malaysia,” stated Tsutomu Takaki.
Breast cancer remains a pressing issue in Malaysia, with high incidence rates and many cases diagnosed at advanced stages, underscoring the importance of early detection efforts.
Dr. Murallitharan Munisamy, Managing Director of NCSM, expressed gratitude for Brother Malaysia’s support in alleviating financial burdens for those in need of screenings. The donation enables NCSM to empower underprivileged women to prioritize their health through free mammograms, thereby enhancing their chances of successful treatment outcomes.
Furthermore, Brother Malaysia’s contribution extends to the care of young cancer patients at NCSM’s Children’s Home of Hope, ensuring they receive comprehensive support during their treatment journey.
NCSM’s Children’s Home of Hope serves as a vital resource for underprivileged families, offering accommodations and support for young cancer patients and their caregivers, thereby minimizing travel expenses and promoting uninterrupted care and recovery.
