An online scam syndicate namely “James Baker” is suspected conning victims by offering non-existent job via its fake websites. As reported by The Star, “Baker” using names and real information of few hospitals including but not limited to Columbia Asia Hospital Setapak, Damai Service Hospital (HQ), Dutamas Hospital and Hartamas Medical Center to create fake hospital websites and advertising job posts with lucrative salary such as executive jobs with salary of more than more than US$9,000 (RM27,000) per month. The victim candidate will be requested to pay for visa and contract fee first before able to get the applied job.
