MALAYSIA, 4 March 2025 – Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus, a household name in Malaysia’s halal food industry, has solidified its dominance by earning five notable accolades from The Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR). The brand was recognized for its pioneering role and remarkable achievements, including:

The awards were presented during an official ceremony at Crystal Crown Hotel, Petaling Jaya, attended by key dignitaries, including the Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), YB Senator Dato’ Setia Dr. Haji Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia, TYT Dato Indera Hermono.
Ayam Gepuk Pak Gembus Malaysia’s Chief Operating Officer (COO), Zulkarnain Bin Mohd Yusof, expressed that the MBOR recognition is both a milestone and a responsibility. “This achievement affirms our dedication to maintaining the highest halal standards while meeting consumer expectations. It also reinforces Malaysia’s standing as a global halal hub,” he stated.
The brand, which boasts over 800 outlets in Indonesia and nearly 100 in Malaysia, is set on an aggressive expansion path. It plans to establish its first international outlet outside Malaysia, further cementing its reputation as a major player in the halal F&B sector. Additionally, the company introduced its latest product, Sambal Kemiri, a new sambal variant designed to deliver the authentic PG by Pak Gembus taste to customers at home. The product will soon be available on Shopee and TikTok Shop.
