VIETNAM, 11 AUGUST 2026 – AsiaPay, a prominent digital payment service provider in Asia, has entered into a strategic partnership with McDonald’s Vietnam to launch an integrated online payment solution across the country. The initiative aims to offer Vietnamese consumers a faster, safer, and more convenient checkout experience.
The payment system enables secure in-app payments within the McDonald’s Vietnam app for Mobile Order & Pay and McDelivery operations. It supports major international card networks including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and JCB, alongside local payment methods such as Apple Pay, ZaloPay, ShopeePay, and VNPay (VietQR), backed by advanced card tokenization.
In addition to improving consumer-facing transactions, AsiaPay’s unified platform streamlines back-end administrative functions. It automates transaction processing, multi-store reconciliations, reporting, and settlements, while offering data analytics to optimize operations and drive customer engagement.
Joseph Chan, CEO of AsiaPay, noted that the collaboration brings the company’s regional payment capabilities to Vietnam’s expanding digital economy. He highlighted that the partnership focuses on providing customers with more checkout options and enhancing the overall digital user experience.
McDonald’s Vietnam stated that the alliance represents a key step in its ongoing digital transformation strategy. The infrastructure improvements are designed to support faster, secure transactions across all ordering points, including digital app platforms, kiosks, and in-store channels, while offering the brand deeper insights into consumer purchasing behavior.
