16 April 2024 – Advanced Micro Devices (AMD.O) announced on Tuesday the launch of its latest series of chips tailored for artificial intelligence-enabled personal computers, aiming to capture a larger share of the burgeoning “AI PCs” market. The new Ryzen PRO 8040 Series, designed for business laptops and mobile workstations, and the AMD Ryzen PRO 8000 Series, a desktop processor catering to business users, are set to debut in platforms from HP and Lenovo in the second quarter of 2024, according to a press release by AMD.
